What Tokens Could He Target?

Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao, co-founder of Binance on X, talked about Giggle Academy (a free, non-profit online education platform providing gamified learning for children) and meme coins. He explained that Giggle Academy swaps donated tokens for BNB at the end of every month, and he doesn’t personally control the wallet. CZ also took issue with people who donate tokens expecting Giggle Academy to burn them rather than sell them.

However, the most interesting part that caught the market’s attention was when CZ said he “supports all meme coins” and that he might buy or sell one or two in the next few weeks just to try out some new things.

That is a notably different statement from what he said back in February 2025, when CZ claimed he’d never bought a memecoin and only held Bitcoin and BNB. Although a month later, he purchased about $1,200 worth of MUBARAK and TST meme coins.

Still, there is no evidence yet that CZ has selected a specific token after his latest X post.

Which Meme Coins Could CZ Buy or Sell in the Next Few Weeks?

There’s not much of a record when it comes to CZ buying or selling meme coins, so predicting what he’ll do next is going to be hard. Considering he talked about Giggle Academy, GIGGLE may be one of his choices, since the token is a BNB Chain meme coin designed so that some of its trading activity flows back to Giggle Academy. Worth noting is that the token isn’t issued by Giggle Academy.

Another possible candidate is BROCCOLI, the meme coin that takes its name from CZ’s pet dog. Last year in February, the Binance co-founder revealed his dog’s name, which sparked a huge wave of new meme coins. He didn’t endorse any particular BROCCOLI token as official, since several different versions popped up instead. The current BROCCOLI meme coin is now seen as a community-run project on the BNB Chain.

Naturally, CZ might lean towards established candidates, such as DOGE or SHIB. If he intends to “test a few new things” without exposing himself to big liquidity risk, it makes more sense for him to pick larger, well-known meme coins than some tiny, obscure tokens.

Still, last week, the total market value of DOGE and SHIB together had sunk to $13.27 billion, which is their lowest point in three years. So, the meme coin market isn’t exactly booming right now, but if CZ buys into a token, his name alone could give it a much bigger boost than usual.
