Bitmine ETH holdings have reached 5.98 million tokens after the company acquired another 27,562 ETH over the past week. As of September 20, the treasury held 5,983,940 ETH, equal to 4.9% of the total ETH supply and roughly 98% of its stated 5% accumulation target.
Bitmine ETH Holdings Keep Expanding Every Week
The latest purchase continues a buying streak that Bitmine says has lasted every week since its Ethereum Treasury Strategy began on June 30, 2025.
At an ETH reference price of $2,688, the company’s 5.98 million ETH represents a massive treasury position. More than 5.06 million ETH is already staked, valued at approximately $13.6 billion.
That staked balance represents about 85% of Bitmine’s total ETH holdings. The company said its staking operations generated a 7-day yield of 2.62%, with annualized staking revenues now projected at $357 million.
Treasury Strategy Moves Closer Toward 5% Target
Bitmine’s broader holdings are also substantial. Its crypto, cash, marketable securities and “moonshots” reportedly total $17.1 billion.
That figure includes $714 million in cash and marketable securities, 212 BTC, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries and a $105 million stake in Eightco Holdings.
The company also operates MAVAN, its institutional-grade Ethereum staking platform. Bitmine said MAVAN has expanded beyond its own treasury to serve institutional investors, custodians and ecosystem partners.
Bitmine ETH Holdings Put Treasury Strategy Spotlight
The accumulation comes as Bitmine’s management argues that Ethereum is strengthening as a macro asset. Its September 21 announcement said ETH had outperformed the S&P 500 by 6,519 basis points during Q3 2026 to date.
The company also expects institutional crypto exposure to increase during the final quarter, though that remains management’s stated outlook rather than an established outcome.
For now, the hard number is simpler: Bitmine ETH holdings stand at 5.98 million, putting the company at 4.9% of Ethereum’s stated 122.1 million supply and just 0.1 percentage point away from its 5% target.
