Funtico, a Web3 gaming platform, has partnered with Avalanche and LaunchLoop, the group behind Avalanche’s GameLoop program. Funtico will now be the main platform for indie game developers working on Avalanche.
Avalanche is known as a fast and scalable blockchain for games. With Funtico, it wants to make it easier for developers to build and publish games. Funtico gives studios tools to launch and earn from their games without needing to know blockchain in detail.
The platform supports both crypto and fiat payments, connects games through its $TICO token, and provides security and compliance. The $TICO token will be used across the platform for rewards, payments, and game features.
The partnership will start with Avalanche GameLoop Season 1 on September 8, which has a $30,000 prize pool. Developers will create browser games with help from Funtico and then release them in tournaments on Funtico.com. This will give developers quick exposure and feedback from players.
