Arbitrum token is back in the spotlight after a 13% daily surge pushed price toward $0.25, extending one of the strongest altcoin rallies of September. The move is tied to a sharp increase in activity on Robinhood Chain, which uses Arbitrum’s technology and sends a portion of eligible net protocol revenue back through the Arbitrum Expansion Program. A major breakout has followed the fundamental repricing, leaving ARB close to a major hurdle of $0.30.
Robinhood Chain Is Changing Arbitrum’s Revenue Equation
Robinhood Chain has given Arbitrum a new source of ecosystem revenue since launching its public mainnet in July. The chain recorded approximately $2.13 million in fees and $1.92 million in revenue over a 24-hour period on September 1, alongside roughly $1.46 billion in decentralized-exchange volume. The surge pushed ARB sharply higher as traders began pricing the revenue-sharing relationship into the token’s broader valuation story.
Under Arbitrum’s Expansion Program, participating chains built with Arbitrum technology contribute 10% of net protocol revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem. The arrangement does not represent a direct dividend to ARB holders, but it creates a measurable revenue stream for ArbitrumDAO and its broader ecosystem.
Arbitrum’s first-half 2026 report recorded $6.19 million in DAO income, with Expansion Program licensing fees accounting for 35% of July income, the first month Robinhood Chain operated on mainnet.
Arbitrum Price Analysis: Can ARB Break $0.30?
ARB price is trading around $0.25, after breaking above the descending trendline that controlled price for much of 2026. The move has also cleared the $0.22–$0.23 resistance area with a substantial volume expansion.
The immediate zone sits around $0.235–$0.24. Holding above this region would preserve the breakout structure and leave $0.26–$0.273 as the next resistance band. A clean move through that area would put $0.30 within the next major upside range. Current market analysis similarly identifies $0.235 as a key level and $0.260–$0.273 as the next extension zone.
A break back below $0.226 would weaken the setup and expose $0.22 as the next downside reference. The sharp September rally also leaves ARB vulnerable to leveraged profit-taking if momentum cools.
