Ethereum (ETH) maker Vitalik Buterin says that the crypto regulation climate turns into an “anarcho-tyrannia” that is unfavorable for industry.
In a message on the decentralized social network Warpcast, Buterin says that there is an unfair situation in Crypto, whereby founders who are transparent with their business models are the target of supervisors because they are reportedly involved in the issue of unregistered ‘effects’.
“The biggest challenge with crypto-regulation (especially in the US) has always been this phenomenon where if you do something useless, or something where you ask people to give your money in exchange for vague references to potential returns, His best free and clear, but if you try to give your customers a clear story about where returns come from, and give promises about what rights they have, then you are sewn because you are ‘a certainty’. The stimulus gradient who creates this ‘anarcho-tyrannia’ ends worse for space than ordinary anarchy or ordinary tyranny.
I would rather see that we go to the opposite situation, whereby spending a token without giving a clear long -term story about why its economic value will retain or increase, it is riskier, and if you give such a long -term story and the Basic best practices follows, then you are safe. To achieve this, good faith is needed, both from the supervisors and the industry. “
Buterin recently gave a substantial amount to support the legal battle of Tornado Cash developers Alexey Pertev and Roman Storm.
Data from Ethereum blockchain discovery traveler Etherscan shows that Buterin transferred 30 ETH worth $ 113,678 to the Legal Fund “Free Alexey & Roman” on 30 May.
Tornado Cash is a mint mix service based on Ethereum that makes anonymous cryptotransactions possible. In 2022, the US imposed a sanction on the platform, claiming that it is used to wash illegal money white and at the same time pose a threat to national security.
