A member of the Shiba Inu ecosystem team has shared a step-by-step guide for SHIB and BONE holders to purchase Shibarium-based non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Shibarium, the L2 blockchain of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, has become a hub for various digital assets, including NFTs.
Shibarium-based NFTs
Since Shibarium’s launch on the mainnet, several NFT collections have debuted on the L2 blockchain, expanding the usability of the network.
It’s worth noting that the ColonelCoup Collection is one of the non-fungible tokens that went live on Shibarium. The digital asset was officially launched on Shibarium on October 11, 2023.
While there is a wide range of NFT collections on Shibarium, many members of the Shiba Inu community are curious about how to purchase these digital assets.

Lucie pointed out that people who want to buy Shibarium NFTs should hold Ethereum (ETH) and all Shiba Inu ecosystem assets, such as SHIB, BONE, and LEASH, in a wallet. For the guide, she used Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) as the digital asset of choice.
According to Lucie, the first step requires users to add the Shibarium Network to their Web 3.0 crypto wallet. This can be done via the wallet’s browser extension. To do this, go to the Shib RPC address and click ‘add the Shibarium mainnet network’.
After adding the network, the next step requires users to bridge their BONE tokens by visiting the Shibarium Staking platform.
After completing the step, Lucie noted that users can explore several Shibarium-based NFT marketplaces, including Mantra Protocol. Choose your favorite NFT from these marketplaces and make payments with BONE.
According to Lucie, the price of these NFT collections ranges between 10 and 10,000 BONE tokens.
She also highlighted some of the benefits of purchasing Shibarium-based NFT collections, including low transaction fees. Notably, users must pay a paltry fee of less than one cent ($0.01) for each transaction.
