Space and Time (SxT) has announced that it will launch its network on zkSync’s advanced hyperchain infrastructure. The decentralized data warehouse platform that recently announced this to the public is designed to enable the interconnectivity of Layer 3 ecosystems, built on Ethereum’s Layer 2 zk rollup. This is in an effort to help SxT bring its AI-powered data analytics capabilities to a broader multi-chain landscape.
Because the Space and Time (SxT) network runs on zkSync, this partnership is also likely to enable fast transaction processing, address security concerns, reduce processing costs, and promote an efficient ecosystem.
According to Vassilis Tziokas, Head of Enterprise Business Development at Matter Labs, the team behind zkSync: “We are excited to partner with SxT and advance our shared vision of offering developers advanced, target=”_blank”>smart contracts and ensuring enterprises are fraud-proof. SxT is used to analyze blockchain data that can be sent back to smart contracts.
In support of this information, Tziokas said: “SxT will introduce a new novel idea for zkSync, including a decentralized data warehouse and proof of SQL protocol.”
Tziokas believes that the combination of this duo will provide efficient verification of zero-knowledge queries, ensuring that raw data and query results are robust and cannot be manipulated.
New features on the horizon
At the launch of the new network, Sxt promises easy access to historical zkSync data, sourced from both zkSyncEra and hyperchains. This allows developers to perform activities on the platform for free. However, developers will only incur costs for computing resources needed to execute their queries.
According to Scott Dykstra, SxT’s co-counfer and chief technology officer: “Given our commitment to zk, we knew we wanted to deploy a zkEVM as the dedicated settlement layer of our network. zkSync is best-in-class at fulfilling the vision of reliable layer-2s, offering extremely fast and low-cost zk-proven transactions”
