The Rusty Robot Country Club just launched the latest upgrade to the RRCC website and dApp suite that includes support for Wallet Connect. Introducing an integration that can facilitate multi-chain and omni-chain expansion in the near future.
Wallet Connect allows multiple wallets to connect to the RRCC website and interact with the numerous dApp tools such as Multimeter wallet portfolio, Breaker bulk burn, Transmitter bulk transfer, Rusty Raffle and everything in between.
The introduction of Wallet Connect is the first in a series of new upgrades and releases that will move the RRCC ecosystem to Multi-Chain and Omni-Chain capabilities, which is also reflected in the v3.0 release of the RRCC dApp ecosystem .
IOTA EVM preparations
With the highly anticipated launch of the IOTA EVM Network on the horizon, the RRCC is taking a step further in preparations to go live when all the pieces of the puzzle are in place.
Smart contracts have been tested, Wallet Connect is live, all that is needed now is a Layer Zero bridge and the ecosystem is ready to cross networks.
The RRCC will upgrade both $RUST token and RRCC NFTs to LayerZero’s Omni-chain standards, this will make both RRCC NFTs and RUST omni-chain tokens that can be seamlessly bridged between any supported Layer Zero network, including Shimmer , IOTA, Ethereum, Polygon, Basic and many more.
Coming home to IOTA
With the new upgrade, the RRCC ecosystem will initiate a transition back to the IOTA EVM network, where it all started over 2 years ago. This will enable us to build a solid and sustainable ecosystem base that can eventually expand and grow across other chains and networks.
We will work with partners such as ShimmerSea Dex and Hedgey Finance to ensure that Liquidity Pools, Staking Pools, airdrops, snapshots and other ecosystem incentives and reward systems are fully supported and deployed as we migrate to IOTA EVM.
As for the tokens, it doesn’t really mean much.
1 REST = 1 REST — no matter what network it’s on
1 RRCC NFT = 1 RRCC NFT — no matter what network it is on (and can only ever exist on one network at a time).
