An important milestone in the evolution of decentralized data infrastructure has arrived. The newly launched Space and Time Foundation aims to support the next generation of blockchain-based applications by enabling developers to build with zero knowledge (ZK)-all of them, while the core principles of decentralization, transport and verifyability are maintained.

The foundation will act as an independent steward for the growing space and tijdeco system, which shift responsibility from a traditional business model to a community -oriented, open management structure. It is an important step in decentralizing the infrastructure behind one of the most advanced data protocols in web3.
Supporting scalable, verifiable crypto -infrastructure
As blockchain technology ripens, decentralized applications are increasingly expected to match or surpass their traditional Web2 opposite hills in performance and refinement. However, one persistent challenge is to build complex Onchain applications that can efficiently store, calculate and ask for data without endangering decentralization.
Space and time are made to solve that challenge.
The core innovation of the network is a database driven by ZK with ZK with which smart contracts have access to verifiable query results in real -time.
By providing sabotage resistant data processing through its proof of SQL mechanism, space and time bridges the gap between high-performance infrastructure and trustless calculation.
With the launch of the Foundation, the protocol comes into a new phase one that emphasizes sustainability in the long term, growth of ecosystem and community-driven administration.
The mandate of the foundation
The Space and Time Foundation, founded at the end of 2024, was established to support the continuous growth and decentralization of the network. The core objectives include:
Ensuring sustainability and network health through cooperation with developers, junction operators and stakeholders
Stimulate research and acceptance of the ZK ZK Technologies from Space and Time
Expand global presence by developing legal, technical and operational frameworks in several areas of law
Conductive administration to an open, transparent and model led by the community
The foundation is expected to play a central role in enabling developers to create new types of applications in various sectors such as Defi, AI, gaming and company data.
Makeinfinite Labs: From Creator to Employee
The original developer of the protocol, Space and Time Labs, has renamed the finite laboratories and will continue to contribute to the ecosystem. Under the leadership of CEO Nate Holiday, Makeinfinite Labs will remain focused on zero knowledge research, enterprise integrations and innovation in the application layer.
Makeinfinite Labs is responsible for various groundbreaking performance, including:
Inventing the proof of SQL, the world’s first sub-second ZK-Coprocessor for SQL-Query’s
Designing and launching a verifiable, powerful database made for smart contracts
Building a lively worldwide network of researchers, developers and lawyers
In the future, the foundation will supervise the broader development of the Space and Time protocol, while Makeinfinite Labs serves as a core contribution.
Leadership and board
To guarantee continuity and to maintain institutional knowledge, several important members of Makeinfinite Labs have been transferred to leadership roles at the foundation:
Scott Dykstra, co-founder of Space and Time Labs, will serve as an employee #001, leading engineering, research and developer involvement.
Catherine Daly, who previously led marketing at the Labs, has been appointed chief marketing officer in charge of growing the community and expanding the ecosystem.
The foundation is governed by an independent board of directors, charged with managing strategic direction and treasury supervision. The board works independently of Makeinfinite Labs to guarantee a neutral and credible administrative posture. More contributors and leadership roles are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with a focus on bringing in voices from the wider community.
