TL; DR
Full story
Are you afraid to help your dad set up a crypto wallet for fear that the unnecessary complexity will cause him to mash his phone and write you out of the will?
(The same!)
Well, we have good news!
Phantom, the Solana-based/Ethereum-friendly hot wallet, just bought Bitski.
(Okay, that didn’t really come across).
Bitski is an ’embed’ wallet, which means the wallet setup process looks like this:
-
Enter your email address.
-
Choose a password.
-
That’s it, there are only two steps.
And with this acquisition of Bitski, Phantom plans to bring that experience to the Solana ecosystem.
That’s a breath of fresh mountain air – and a clear solution to the common “this is too hard, I don’t care” argument (rightly) made by our friends and family.
But beyond that, overcoming this user experience hurdle sets a standard for others to adopt, which in turn paves the way for mass adoption.
We’d love to see it!
