ColonelCoup, an NFT project based on the Shiba Inu community, has announced its mint date, with a planned launch on Shibarium.
The recently launched Shibarium Network has gained significant traction, especially among SHIB investors. A community of developers hopes to push this usage even further with the upcoming launch of an NFT collection called ColonelCoup.
ColonelCoup is promoted as the official mascot of the Shib CoOP, a community of developers, investors and creatives committed to advancing the SHIB metaverse. The Shib CoOP is expanding its popularity even further with the ColonelCoup collection, now expected to release on Wednesday, October 11th.

The ColonelCoup Coup will be a blind coin, where users will purchase the NFT without seeing the item. The NFTs will remain hidden for three days after the coin, with Saturday, October 14 as the reveal date.
Being based on Shibarium means users must have SHIB and BONE tokens on the Shibarium network to participate in the mint event. Each item in the collection costs 5 million SHIB (approximately $36 at today’s prices), with BONE having to pay fees on the Shibarium network.
ColonelCoup stopped short of revealing the exact timing for the coin event and unveiling. These details will be made available in due course as the project prepares to become one of the first NFT collections to launch on Shibarium.
However, amid the growing excitement surrounding the project’s launch, it is important that investors consider the associated risks and examine their risk tolerance before making any potential commitments.
Progress in the Shiba Inu ecosystem
The upcoming ColonelCoup collection mint at Shibarium is just one of the many activities generating excitement about the Shiba Inu project. As The Crypto Basic previously reported, Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi shared a cryptic message suggesting this “Something is brewing” for the project community.
While speculation remains up in the air about what’s to come for Shiba Inu, there are early indications that the development may involve the Shibarium Network or a possible AI integration.
The Shiba Inu development team has been building close ties with the Bad Idea AI community and may foray into the trending technology in the near future.
