Ripple Vice President Emi Yoshikawa has expressed excitement that Japanese financial giant SBI Group will use XRP Ledger to mint attendee NFTs for the event. This move is an important milestone for Ripple and the broader use of blockchain technology.

Yoshikawa shares further details about the process to obtain the NFTs: “You can get NFTs by visiting the Expo and completing missions. You can get additional NFTs by using the Expo mobile payment app. You can mint your own NFTs.”
SBI Group’s decision to use XRP Ledger to create non-fungible tokens (NFTs) remains strategic and has caught the attention of the XRP community.

According to Bithomp data, 6,508,659 NFTs have been minted since the introduction of the XLS-20 standard, of which 5,954,017 exist and total 6,577 issuers.
