Hidden Road, a digital assets and a digital exchange of brokerage office that has recently been taken over by Ripple, has protected a license for Real Estate dealer in the US and extended its capacities to serve institutional investors, the President of the Company, Noel Kimmel, told Bloomberg News.
The license makes Hidden Road possible to offer top broker, clearing and financing services on assets with fixed-income incomes to a broader range of customers. Kimmel said that the registration is an important step in the direction of the company’s goal to become a full-service, non-bank brokerage in activa classes.
The approval extends the range of Hidden Road further than digital assets and foreign exchange in traditional markets, including fixed -income values, where it recently became a fixed incoming clearing corporation (FICC).
The profile of Hidden Road rose sharply after the 2022 FTX collapse, because the institutional demand for Prime Brokerage services that offer the risk reduction grew the crypto sector.
The report noted that the status of the Hidden Road broker dealer enables it to offer fixed income agreements, global financing services and clearing options in new asset classes later this year.
The relocation supports Ripple’s wider objective of offering financial aids for business quality, on cross -border payments and advanced guardianship services, to institutional customers on a scale.
Rimple -acquisition and institutional expansion
Ripple announced his acquisition of $ 1.25 billion Van Hidden Road on April 8 and describes it as the biggest deal in its history. Ripple positioned the acquisition as the first crypto-following company that has a multi-asset prime brokerage platform with an established institutional network.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse called the transaction a “unique opportunity” to connect traditional financial markets with blockchain-driven ecosystems.
Ripple said that the infrastructure of Hidden Road will speed up the institutional acceptance of financial services based on blockchain, which extends its service bods to trade clearance, financing, custody and risk management.
Ripple is planning to use his RLUSD Stablecoin as collateral for cross-asset transactions within the broker services of Hidden Road as part of the integration. Hidden Road will also use the XRP whides to facilitate faster trade settlements, aimed at shortening the settlement times of hours to minutes and reduce operational costs. =
