Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBA), the educational branch of the Polkadot (DOT) ecosystem, has announced the launch of the Jam Course, a specialized program designed to help developers make innovations in Polkadot’s blockchain architecture, according to the tracks that are shared with Finbold at Finbold at Finbold at Finbold at Finbold at Finbold at Finbold at Finbold on 10.
The course has been set to launch in December 2025 and is the first project to investigate Join-Accumulate Machine (JAM), the new framework conceptualized by co-founder Dr. ir. Gavin Wood from Polkadot.
Polkadot’s Jam Course
A continuation of the PBA campus, Jam Tour and PBA-X, the four-week entry program of the Academy, is the Jam course mainly designed for experienced web3 developers who want to explore the JAM infrastructure.
In contrast to traditional blockchain programs, the Jam course emphasizes learning through experience supplemented with various high-level tutorials, joint interactive sessions and open discussions.
Pauline Cohen Vorms, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Polkadot Blockchain Academy, described the program as the ‘next border’ for the chain:
“Jam represents the next border for Polkadot, and this course is a gateway for developers who would like to explore his transforming potential. Through this program, participants will not only get technical expertise, but also a deeper insight into how Polkadot stimulates the future of blockchain interruption. “
During the program, the participants will work with the core components of Jam, including the functions of the refine, accumulation and depressor, which are crucial to understand how the layer can reform the future of the blockchain.
Participants will also investigate tools such as the Polkadot Virtual Machine and Polkadot API, both essential for building Real-World applications.

Jam is designed to replace the relay chain of Polkadot with a more flexible and scalable decentralized application (DAPP) environment.
It supports permissionless code execution, solidity smart contracts and dissolving outputs, allowing developers to integrate calculation, both online and off-chain.
In turn, this eliminates the need to choose between appchains and smart contracts and offers a uniform environment for both.
