Non-fungible token (NFT) platform Enjin has announced the transition to a new mainnet called Enjin Blockchain to further deploy Web3. The Enjin team said that the Enjin Blockchain will be different from other blockchain solutions based on smart contracts. Functions such as creating and transferring NFTs will be integrated into the blockchain code.
In addition, the blockchain also introduces new functions. These include Fuel Tanks, which allow developers to subsidize user transaction fees, and Discrete Accounts, which allow users to interact with projects using the blockchain without downloading special wallet software.
The team also informed their community that Efinity, Polkadot’s parachain, has also been split to a new mainnet. It will be called Efinity Matrixchain and will support the transition for existing users. According to Enjin co-founder and CTO Witek RADOMSKIthe launch of Enjin Blockchain aims to support creativity by making it easier and cheaper to create and distribute NFTs for everyone.
