Wembanyama makes headlines at Spurs
Wembanyama has already made headlines for Spurs, including a remarkable 38-point performance in a recent match.
Notably, his first single-edition ‘Unique’ digital trading card on the blockchain-based NFT game Sorare NBA raised over $110,000 at auction, surpassing the previous $67,333 price paid for his top physical trading card.
NBA Top Shot, an officially licensed NBA NFT collecting platform on the Flow blockchain, gained widespread attention during the NFT market’s final bull phase in 2021
Although sales have since declined, Wembanyama’s debut on the platform could one day help generate interest and excitement among NFT sports card collectors.
