MyTonWallet, a self-custodial wallet for The Open Network’s blockchain, launched NFT card customization on January 15.
The latest v3.2 update allows users to personalize their wallet interfaces using rare, non-fungible token cards. The feature builds on a two-year initiative when MyTonWallet first introduced exclusive NFT cards minted on the Open Network blockchain.
These cards can now be used to customize the design of the wallet by changing the interface and color scheme to match the chosen card.
“Blockchain technology empowers users, but personalization often takes a back seat,” said Alexander Zinchuk, founder of MyTonWallet, in a press release to crypto.news. “By adapting the NFT card interface, we combine functionality with a sense of artistry, making crypto wallets not only secure, but also unique, visually appealing and fun to use.”
Security upgrades
The v3.2 update also includes several performance and security improvements. A swap aggregator has been introduced to help users find better rates on decentralized exchanges on the network.
Additionally, the wallet now offers real-time notifications to improve transaction tracking, giving users more control over their digital asset management.
Founded in 2022, MyTonWallet is an open-source multi-chain wallet that supports assets on both The Open Network and TRON blockchains. According to the project, it has served more than eight million users and has been audited by CertiK, a blockchain security company.
