CryptoPunks topped CryptoSlam’s non-fungible token (NFT) sales chart on Tuesday with sales of over US$3.58 million.
The collection’s sales volume rose from approximately $825,000 the day before to top the daily chart for the second day in a row.
But it’s not all great news for CryptoPunks, as NFT investor Deepak Thapliyal announced the sale of Punk #5822 for an undisclosed amount.
Community members estimate that the rare digital asset was sold for around 5,000 Ether ($12.8 million).
Thapliyal bought CryptoPunk #5822 in 2022 for $24 million.
The second collection of the day was Guild of Guardians Heroes on the Immutable network, with sales of US$435,868 across 1,740 transactions.
Polygon-based Fashion Girl, which debuted this weekend, posted revenue of $430,003 and took third place.
In fourth place, Solana’s DogeZuki Collection recorded sales of US$345,950, while Bored Ape Yacht Club came in fifth with US$330,472.
Solana Monkey Business finished in the top five with a daily turnover of US$281,254.
Ethereum blockchain, where CryptoPunks is located, reported a total sales volume of $6.5 million on the same day, marking a significant increase from the previous day’s $3.59 million.
Ethereum led all blockchains in NFT sales, with half of the sales volume coming from CryptoPunks.
