MicroStrategy ($MSTR) is in a strange place.
Sure, that’s true technically a software company – but a large part of its market cap is due to the fact that it owns ~190,000 Bitcoin (~$9.74 billion).
So much so that the narrative surrounding the stock is “buy $MSTR to get exposure to Bitcoin” – rather than “buy $MSTR to get exposure to the profits of its software company.”
