MANTRA Chain, a compliance-focused blockchain, recently joined Google Cloud to improve real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. As the world’s third largest cloud services provider, Google Cloud will provide essential infrastructure services and serve as a network verifier for MANTRA Chain, increasing the speed and reducing the cost of trading real assets. The integration of Google Cloud ensures secure and scalable operations, which MANTRA can use to onboard assets into the chain faster and more securely.
Scale blockchain operations with Google Cloud Infrastructure
Google Cloud will host MANTRA’s blockchain operations and deliver a reliable, high-performance infrastructure for tokenized assets. This infrastructure supports faster, transparent transactions, improves market liquidity and reduces dependence on intermediaries. According to Richard Widmann, head of Web3 Strategy at Google Cloud, the partnership will “enable developers and startups to build on MANTRA” by delivering best-in-class tools and a reliable, scalable RPC.
Real-world assets are traded through centralized structures with many intermediaries, with high fees and low investor permeability. MANTRA’s blockchain is streamlined through tokenization as assets are distributed and made accessible to a diaspora of different sizes and investors. This setup also reduces transaction costs, creating more efficient and liquid markets. MANTRA co-founder and CEO John Patrick Mullin noted that working with Google Cloud validates the reliability of the blockchain and the credibility of the RWA industry.
MANTRA Incubator to drive Web3 innovation
A new initiative launching in the first quarter of 2025, the MANTRA Incubator, will provide selected RWA projects with resources and technical support to advance Web3 development. Google Cloud’s Web3 and AI experts will provide mentorship, cloud credits and additional guidance, further strengthening the MANTRA platform for developers and startups. This incubator program aims to accelerate the creation of innovative RWA solutions that take advantage of MANTRA’s blockchain and Google Cloud infrastructure.
MANTRA has appointed BCW Group, a leading Google Cloud partner, as the key implementation partner to achieve this. BCW Group’s technical experience in Web3 and AI for infrastructure will help advance MANTRA’s blockchain capabilities while increasing the platform’s user reliability.
