NFT
The world of decentralized gaming is about to witness a transformation as LUXON, the innovative Web3 gaming platform, teams up with Chainlink, the leading decentralized oracle network.
Their collaboration aims to revolutionize the minting of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) within the highly anticipated SEASON-0 webquest of DESPERADO B218.
By integrating Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) onto the Polygon mainnet, LUXON introduces a new era of transparency and excitement, providing users with verifiable proof of the provable randomness behind NFT coins.
Unveiling the next level of gaming experience
DESPERADO B218, an immersive decentralized turn-based combat game inspired by the Exos Heroes IP, allows players to take ownership of in-game resources, including agents and other game items.
By embracing Web3 principles, LUXON’s DAO enables users to actively participate in decision-making processes, such as strengthening or rebalancing agent skills, fostering an autonomous ecosystem where collective choices drive gameplay.
With the integration of Chainlink’s VRF, LUXON is embarking on a path of user-centric innovation, laying the foundation for a new gaming experience powered by cryptographic verifiability and transparency.
Improving the coining process
The quest for secure and tamper-resistant random number generation within smart contracts led LUXON to use Chainlink VRF. Unlike traditional solutions, Chainlink VRF is distinguished by its reliance on advanced academic research and the rock-solid infrastructure of the Chainlink oracle network.
The system uses on-chain cryptographic proofs, generated with the oracle node’s pre-committed private key and unknown block data at the time of the request, to produce both random numbers and verifiable proofs.
Chainlink VRF’s robust mechanism prevents tampering or tampering, ensuring the integrity of the random number generation process. The LUXON smart contract only accepts random numbers accompanied by valid cryptographic proofs, ensuring that the randomness that governs NFT coins remains untouched by outside entities, or even by the LUXON team itself.
Users can now have complete confidence in the fairness and provable nature of the coining process, thanks to the automated and verifiable assurances provided directly on the blockchain.
Alan Huh, CEO at nerdystar and a driving force behind LUXON’s vision, expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership:
“We are excited to use Chainlink VRF to help improve the transparency of our NFT coin mechanism. As the industry standard for verifiable randomness, it is a must-have for high-integrity projects and critical to maintaining the Web3 ethic behind our game.”
