Major football club Paris Saint-Germain FC and avant-garde fashion brand Blvck Paris are teaming up for an exclusive new collaboration that brings together sports, fashion and digital art, the companies announced in a joint press release on Wednesday.
The collection will include physical apparel, but will first be led by a digital fashion drop via NFTs, initially via an exclusive launch on the Crypto.com marketplace. The NFTs will allow early access to purchase the physical equipment, along with other potential benefits for holders.
Crypto.com is offering a total of 1,000 NFTs for $50 each and notes that 10% of the collectibles are special edition NFTs that can be redeemed for a box of physical items from the collaboration. The NFTs are minted on Cronos, a chain backed by Crypto.com. The physical fashion items in the collaboration will be released next week.
The companies have teased a few pieces from the collection that adopt Blvck Paris’ monochrome aesthetic, including an all-black hoodie and football, each with white text. Other planned items include a T-shirt, welcome mat and scarf with the same vibe.
