Fire blocks on board injective to expand its institutional adoption
According to the company, the integration will facilitate some of the largest entities. In this regard, they can now directly use the $INJ token. In addition, these institutions can also bring the coin on board the Injective ecosystem. In its recent X-post, the company noted that Fireblocks operates as a popular custodian within the digital asset industry. It added that the aforementioned 1,800 top platforms trust Fireblocks.
Furthermore, the company has ensured the secure transaction of digital assets worth over $4 trillion. It has received significant attention from major financial companies due to its advanced security features. Fireblocks customers take into account the largest banks such as Paribas, BNP, BNY Mellon and HSBC. Additionally, it has raised more than $1 billion from global major investors such as Coatue, Sequoia Capital and BNY Mellon.
The integration enables secure institutional deployment, holding and access to injectable assets
Currently, Injective is included in the list of the first blockchain companies to officially integrate Fireblocks. This development allows the entities to securely deploy, hold, and access local Injective assets on Fireblocks. CEO and co-founder of Injective Labs, Eric Chen, also commented on this development. The executive claimed that the company is continuously trying to expand institutional adoption.
Chen added that the latest integration marks a pivotal step in the company’s vision. Furthermore, the integration also enables institutional consumers to securely use Injective’s high-speed blockchain. In addition, they also have access to the platform’s wide range of decentralized applications. In turn, well-known institutions and funds can easily deploy capital and link it to applications.
For that purpose, they can use the resilient Injective ecosystem. As a result of this integration, Fireblocks can play the role of a major gateway to Injective’s native apps. They take into account credit, trading, money markets, and so on. Injective claimed that the company will continue to onboard conventional entities at layer 1, which will help in the transition to an exclusive, Web3-based financial world.
