Ethereum regained its position as the top blockchain in the non-fungible token (NFT) market on Wednesday, with daily sales of $17.02 million.
According to data from CryptoSlam, the platform saw a 39.19% increase in revenue in the 24 hours to 2:00 PM ET. Ethereum’s all-time sales volume rose to $43.36 billion, the highest in the industry.
Ethereum dethroned Bitcoin for the highest daily selling spot after the latter held the position for two days.
This is the second week in a row in which Bitcoin led the market on Monday and Tuesday, only to allow Ethereum the lead on Wednesday.
Bitcoin and Solana ranked second and third respectively, with Bitcoin experiencing a nearly 30% drop in revenue to $11.61 million, while Solana’s revenue fell slightly by 4.17%, totaling $6.79 million .
Despite the decline, Bitcoin is inching closer to all-time $3 billion in NFT sales volume, now about $23 million away.
It is on track to become the fourth network in history to surpass this milestone.
Polygon recorded the fourth highest sales volume on Wednesday, with revenue up 6.35% in the past 24 hours to $1.13 million.
Polygon’s sales volume reached at least $1 million for the first time this week.
Mythos Chain, the fifth NFT network of the day, had revenue of $1.06 million.
Immutable fell out of the top 5 position on Wednesday after a 20% drop in sales to US$725,679.
