The launch marks a new vision for the ecosystem with new features, advanced interoperability, a marketplace and a later move to the Arbitrum Orbit stack.
Web 3 infrastructure development community Dojima Foundation unveiled the Omnichain Web, aimed at driving the next phase of mainstream blockchain adoption. Omnichain Web is an infrastructure designed to accelerate mainstream adoption of Web 3 through seamless chain integration and improved interoperability of decentralized applications (DApps).
Announced this week, the Omnichain Web features a proof of network consensus mechanism and a Layer 1 aggregator that eliminates the need for bridges. In addition, the infrastructure will also feature a Builder Marketplace that allows developers to create cross-chain applications and present them to the community.
Akhil Reddy, founder of the Dojima Foundation, highlighted the importance of Omnichain Web in driving mainstream adoption of Web 3 and driving the next phase of DApps. Speaking about the launch of Omnichain Web, Reddy said:
“With the Omnichain Web we are not just building technology; we are creating the future foundation of Web3. Just as the Internet became the backbone for Web2, the Omnichain Web will be the starting point for user-centric, next-generation Web3 applications. This is where mainstream adoption begins.”
Dojima has witnessed gradual growth since its launch, welcoming over 100 cross-chain DApps and protocols into its ecosystem. The latest integration, developed by the Foundation, is key to its mission to “positively transform the way decentralized apps (dApps) and users interact in chains,” according to the press release.
Many in the Web 3 space have argued that creating a fluid, interoperable financial web is the catalyst for mainstream adoption. Omnichain Web aims to provide interoperable chains and DApps to users, which can enable the next generation of intuitive and user-centric applications.
Enable interoperable connectivity with Omnichain Web
As mentioned, the launch of Omnichain Web is expected to improve the creation of DApps and promote mainstream adoption of Web 3. According to the main website, the platform is designed to enable the next phase of mainstream adoption with verifiable execution and distributed settlement. Additionally, Omnichain Web enables the next wave of intent-based protocols and user-centric applications.
The platform combines several key protocols to create a unified ecosystem, including a Builder Marketplace, a comprehensive platform for creating breakthrough cross-chain applications that work with intent protocols.
Additionally, Omnichain Web also includes AI agents, DeAI applications, and Omnichain Stack, a bridging solution that connects Layer-2s, rollups, and sidechains.
The infrastructure also features Proof of Network, a transaction verification system that works with L1s, L2s and cross-chain protocols, and L1 aggregator Ragno Network, which eliminates the need for bridges and creates a decentralized marketplace for blockchain nodes. Ragno Network also makes it easier and cheaper for developers to manage cross-chain interactions than Ethereum and other competitors.
Following launch, Dojima Foundation executives believe that Omnichain Web will enable smooth operation across all Layer-1s and Layer-2s, supporting intent-based protocols and AI agents while prioritizing the user experience .
In the near future, the Dojima Foundation team will launch the Omnichain Web on the Arbitrum Orbit stack, as well as omnichain iterations of several other major rollup stacks.
