This iconic collection now has a historic sales volume of $2.86 billion and ranks third on the all-time list.
Fashion Girl, a new Polygon-based collection that debuted this weekend, took third place in daily sales on Sunday with US$529,002.
Ethereum, where CryptoPunks is located, led all blockchains in NFT sales on Sunday with $3.57 million, up from $2.58 million the day before.
The leading blockchain saw a substantial increase in activity, with a total of 20,409 transactions processed.
Rival Solana came in second with $2.89 million, while Polygon followed with $2.01 million.
