Today, the Celo Foundation and Rarible announced the integration of Rarible’s new API solution on Celo, the blockchain network built for the real world and designed for fast, low-cost payments worldwide.

The integration allows makers and developers building on Celo to leverage a robust toolkit of solutions for their decentralized applications (dApps), including:

This ongoing partnership marks a major step forward in the Celo ecosystem’s efforts to increase accessibility for mission-driven NFT creators around the world, leveraging an existing network of 1,000 projects in more than 150 countries, including NFT -projects with practical usability, such as:
Steward – a dynamic NFT collection that funds climate nonprofits committed to conserving the planet’s eight ecosystems and indigenous organizations
Ecosapiens – an environmentally conscious collective defending the climate with a perpetual digital carbon capture collection series, whose dynamic Celosapien evolved with Celo’s protocol layer carbon offsets
Plastiks – a marketplace for tokenized plastic recovery certificates (currently totaling 2.2 million kg of recovered plastic waste) with several partners including legendary football club FC Barcelona
With the introduction of the Rarible API on Celo, developers can access real-time and historical data, seamlessly integrate NFTs into their platform, create custom dashboards, track ownership, embed NFT trading, and more. The extensive infrastructure offered on Celo for builders further unlocks a wide range of use cases, including wallets, Web3 games and analytics platforms.
