Enables seamless data transfer
CARV, specialized in modular data solutions, will implement Layer Zero infrastructure for better data exchange between the multiple blockchain networks. This addresses the data segregation issue and allows gaming and AI apps to function better with respect to infrastructure.
The developers will leverage the opportunity to build such games that can pull their data from different blockchains, increasing reach and scalability. This makes it possible to create multiple game environments that are linked to each other. Furthermore, players can transfer their achievements, items and status between the different systems without disrupting the game.
Yukai Tu, CTO of CARV, stated that the integration will enhance CARV’s modular data layer, allowing users to manage their data across multiple blockchain environments. This cross-chain interoperability ensures players can maintain ownership and control of their digital assets, promoting a fair and transparent data ecosystem.
LayerZero enhances CARV’s cross-chain capabilities
Kenny Zhang, Ecosystem Growth Lead at LayerZero, noted that the combination of CARV’s Identity and Data Layer with LayerZero’s omnichain technology is a major step forward. This means that users can operate in different chains with their identity and assets, which greatly benefits CARV’s goals, which aim to break the barriers for users in the web3 domain.
CARV supports more than 900 games and AI companies, representing more than 30% of all Web3 games. With 9.5 million registered players and significant funding from top investors, CARV is positioned as a leader in modular data solutions. The integration with LayerZero strengthens CARV’s role in improving data mobility and interoperability in the gaming and AI industries.
LayerZero is a technology platform that allows applications to transfer data across blockchains. It supports censorship-resistant messaging and permissionless development via immutable smart contracts, providing an infrastructure for cross-chain interactions.
