The Bored Ape Yacht Club may be collaborating with another Ape-themed fashion brand: Japanese streetwear icon BAPE, or A Bathing Ape.
That’s according to a tweet from today’s official Bored Ape Yacht Club account, featuring a cartoonish drawing of a t-shirt in a closet with images of both BAPE and Bored Ape on it. “I’ve been a fan for a long time,” the tweet reads.
The official BAPE account then quote-tweeted itwith the addition ‘Apes Together Strong’ – a common phrase used by Bored Ape NFT holders. The official account for the Bapetavers NFT project I also quoted and tweeted it with the same sentence.
