- Bitfinex and Penguin Academy have partnered on a three-week coding boot camp for women in Paraguay.
- The boot camp will help empower women in technology from May 3-24, 2023.
- The course curriculum covers the basics of Python coding, as well as blockchain, IoT, and robotics.
Bitfinex, a leading digital asset trading exchange, has announced the sponsorship of an upcoming coding boot camp exclusively for women.
In a press release shared with CoinJournal on Tuesday, Bitfinex said it would partner with the Penguin Academy to offer the three-week introductory coding course. The boot camp will take place from 3 to 24 May 2023 in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.

Course covers microelectronics, robotics and IoT
Created by Penguin Academy, the course curriculum includes basic Python coding, blockchain, and microelectronics. Participants will also benefit from valuable workshops on web development, robotics and the Internet of Things.
Students will also benefit from networking opportunities, for which multiple events are scheduled, including meet and greets, career nights and speed dating.
Organizers have scheduled a five-day hackathon to wrap up the boot camp, with a demo day where the top three contenders will receive scholarships for the Plan B summer school on the way to Lugano, Switzerland.
The partnership with Penguin Academy is the latest Bitfinex program championing individual freedom and financial inclusion through technology innovation. The crypto exchange was founded in 2012.
Also founded in 2012, Penguin Academy has conducted its coding bootcamp in Switzerland, Germany, Bulgaria, China, and the Philippines. The boot camp landed in Paraguay in 2019 and has trained more than 2000 young people.
