The uncategorized Bitcoin Ordinals collection emerged as the top-ranked NFT collection on Wednesday with a 24-hour sales volume of more than US$3.42 million, despite a 34% decline, according to CryptoSlam.
Uncategorized Ordinals refers to digital assets on the Bitcoin blockchain that are not officially part of a collection.
The range of Bitcoin-based digital assets saw a 12% increase in transactions, reaching a total of 5,955 transactions.
Bitcoin collections led the NFT market despite sales for Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Yuga Labs’ blue-chip collection of 10,000 unique assets, which rose 68% to 1.7 in the past 24 hours million dollars.
Ethereum-based BAYC led the NFT market in collection sales.
CryptoPunks, another Ethereum heavyweight under Yuga Labs, saw its revenue fall 33.74% to $765,031.
Pudgy Penguins, yet another Ethereum-based collection, witnessed the biggest increase in sales of the day among the top 10 sellers with a 434.94% increase to US$952,798.
On Solana, Mad Lads took third place with sales of almost $1.81 million, a slight increase of 1.40% and a 20% increase in the number of transactions.
Solana’s Froganas and Ethereum’s Milady Maker both reported revenue increases of 128.98% and 104.91% respectively, with Froganas seeing a robust 74.60% increase in transactions.
ImmutableX’s Gods Unchained Cards rounded out the top ten with a 41% increase in sales to US$645,727% and a slight decline in transactions.
