Steve Eisman says that he now uses a wait -and -see approach to the stock market.
In a new interview with CNBCThe famous investor notes that he has debit the risk in his personal portfolio.
“I am waiting. I think we will have volatility for a while. The Trump administration has set up a situation in which they will negotiate with several countries with several countries. It will not take a few weeks, it will take a few months, so I think, the volatility here will be here for a while.”
EISMAN, who is best known to bet against the housing market prior to the American subprime mortgage crisis, says shares such as Nvidia (NVDA) and Apollo Global Management (Apo) have “strong fundamentals in the long term” and are ready to make money on multi -year timetables, although he is less certain about the shorter term.
“I would not even get a gamble about what a stock will do in the coming months, not even harm, simply because we are in the type of market where … There is only one variable that matters, and at the moment the variable that matters is the president of the United States, and I can’t handle that now.”
In terms of Nvidia, the famous investor in particular says that it is only ‘the early innings of the AI revolution’, and he predicts that the tech giant still has room to grow.
