Seventy chains and counts: Bitcoin strike is expanding with Maving Launch and New Integration

Babylon also revealed on the same day, Babylon Genesis Blockchain, built using Cosmos’ CometBTF Interchain Stack, and powered by a native token called ‘Baby’. What makes the Babylon protocol unique is the ability to enable BTC holders to offer cryptographic protection to proof-of-stake (POS) networks in a self-intersection way, without the needs of intermediaries or bridges.
And now, with the Axelar integration also appropriate, the baby token, which can be used to secure the Genesis chain, will be made available for Axela’s network of more than seventy blockchain platforms.
“With the integration of Axelar, the Babylon Genesis ecosystem is now accessible in more than 70 blockchain -ecosystems,” said Clayton Menzel, head of business development at Babylon Labs, the company behind the Babylon protocol.
The introduction of Genesis, according to Babylon Labs, adds a low-one platform that is protected by the Bitcoin blockchain, which the company calls a “Bitcoin Secured Network” (BSN), with expansion and time stamp. Genesis will also act as a liquidity hub and a so -called “control plane” that helps set up other projects that want to become BSNs.
