Athens Network terminates collaboration with Bitmart based on assumed misconduct
In his announcement, Athens Network claimed that it officially ends its collaboration with Bitmart. The main reason behind this decoupling is an alleged misconduct from Bitmart. The centralized crypto exchange probably has not maintained transparency. In this respect, the platform referred to different non-transparent actions from Bitmart. Such operations have expressed concern for the Athens network.
As a result of the alleged violations of cooperation by Bitmart, Athens Network was said to be forced to break the tires. While making specific references, Athens Network emphasized the blockage of recordings that are parallel to the permission of deposits. The crypto exchange could therefore deposit consumers their $ atn tokens while retaining the recordings.
This development resulted in a confusion, where the road was released for discomfort and financial losses for those who had the $ atn tokens. Apart from that, another statement against the Bitmart is the organization of the direct sale of $ ATN tokens on its platform. Allegedly this paved the way for an unjustified and pure dip in the market value of $ ATN. In particular, BitMart has carried out this development without the permission of Athens Network.

According to Athens Network, this misconduct brought serious fear of transparency and market manipulation in the hands of Bitmart. Athens Network has kept an eye on these things and eventually switched to a unilateral termination in the case of the business ties with Bitmart. As a result, the trade and deposits in the $ atn -token will be suspended on the 9th of this month. After this, on June 9, 2025, the $ ATN recordings will also be suspended.
