The Aptos Foundation has announced an integration with Movement to set up an advanced routing infrastructure.
On March 13, the Aptos team announced that Movement will integrate Aptos Data Availability (DA) capabilities with the Move stack and create an advanced routing infrastructure across the Movement blockchain.
The integration will also provide a more seamless Aptos interface to the Ethereum and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) networks, improving the interoperability and functionality of the Aptos networks.
Bashar Lazaar, head of grants and ecosystem at the Aptos Foundation, emphasized the importance of partnering with Movement in a commentary on crypto.news:
“This integration is important because aligning the Movement network with Aptos creates a tremendous opportunity to natively integrate EVM protocols, liquidity and users into Aptos and Movement.”

Aptos is a blockchain platform powered by the AptosBFT consensus algorithm. The project uses a unique programming language called Move to create smart contracts. Last month, Aptos unveiled another initiative: a partnership with technology company Jambo to expand access to web3 in emerging markets.
The collaboration resulted in the release of the JamboPhone smartphone, positioned as a budget smartphone model. It can be ordered in more than 40 countries for $99.
In late February, the native Aptos token (APT) posted impressive gains. Additionally, blockchain development activity reached a two-month high, increasing 268% with 39 active development contributors.
