Blockchain
Goshen, a fast and affordable Optimistic Rollup L2 blockchain solution for Ethereum scaling, is pleased to announce the open sourcing of its codebase. The Ontology-incubated project is currently live on testnet, with a mainnet launch scheduled for later this year. The network plans to reduce the amount of time it takes to complete transactions and boost throughput, while lowering the cost of using gas and preserving Ethereum’s decentralized nature and robust security.
You can access the Goshen repository at the following GitHub link: https://github.com/goshennetwork. By making the codebase publicly available, Goshen aims to increase openness, collaboration, and participation from the larger blockchain community. The initiative expects this to help accelerate innovation and increase the security of the platform.
Goshen will soon be launching a bug bounty program along with the announcement that it will make its codebase open-source. The goal of the program is to encourage developers and security researchers to find and report vulnerabilities in the codebase. Specific data related to the bug bounty, such as its scope, rewards, and submission requirements, will be made public in the near future.
More accessible and user-friendly dApps
The goal of Goshen’s Optimistic Rollup L2 blockchain is to offer an alternative to Ethereum that is both faster and cheaper to use, as well as highly compatible with the existing L1 codebase. This will help alleviate the problems of network congestion and excessive transaction fees. Goshen plans to use Ontology to create a paradigm shift in the blockchain industry by making decentralized applications (dApps) more accessible and friendly to end users.
Goshen invites all developers to join the Goshen Discord #dev channel. On this channel, you can discuss your ideas, ask questions about technical matters, and collaborate with other developers who are excited about Goshen’s goal. Goshen’s lead developer, Kenny, will participate in the community call to be held Thursday. Goshen urges you not to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with Kenny and important new perspectives on Goshen’s growth and the project’s goals for the future.
Goshen Network is a full Ethereum equivalent optimistic rollup protocol that uses a RISC-V engine to provide on-chain computing and provides a reliable Layer 2 environment in which to conduct transactions. Goshen has just started the project and can hardly wait to share more information about the project with you. Join the Goshen Network community on Discord or follow the latest Goshen Network updates on Twitter.
