Sophon integrates Avail DA and Avail Light Clients to enhance onchain entertainment for users
In its recent post, the platform noted that Sophon will deploy both Avail DA and the Avail Light Clients. With this, it will provide the scale to tackle the exclusive era of on-chain entertainment. In addition to the social media announcement, Avail also published a blog post on its official web portal for more information.
The platform mentioned that this integration will enable the use of Avail DA in various Sophon-built apps. These apps reportedly cover various sectors such as art, social, gaming, AI and prediction markets. The respective applications aim to provide a high-throughput, low-latency environment for enhanced consumer experiences. In line with this, Avail DA acts as a future-proof and cost-efficient solution for Sophon. It perfectly realizes Sophon’s vision by supporting the KZG commitments in combination with Data Availability Sampling.
In addition, Avail’s Light Client technology will support Sophon’s decentralized infrastructure. It will provide end users with the rapid availability of verifiable data. Moreover, Sophon becomes a go-to platform that facilitates both users and developers. It’s ready to hit Mainnet soon, with the support of the ZKsync ecosystem and Matter Labs.
The integration uses ZK Stack for scalable DA mechanism and ensures transaction integrity
Sophon’s CEO and co-founder Seb commented on this development. According to the executive, apart from ensuring transaction integrity, maintaining data availability is a complicated task. Moreover, keeping costs manageable during all of this is a difficult task. According to Seb, Avail’s integration directly addresses these issues by providing an effective and significantly scalable DA mechanism using ZK Stack.
Avail co-founder Anurag Arjun said offering Avail Light Client to users is like letting them quickly verify the availability of data from the entire network. According to him, users can do this even with higher throughput requirements, as in the case of Sophon.
