The decentralized oracle network Chainlink (LINK) is ahead of all other crypto projects in terms of recent development activities, according to analytics firm Santiment.
Santiment notes that Chainlink tops the list with an average of 451.23 notable GitHub events in the past 30 days.
Smart contract platform Cardano (ADA) is in second place, with 444.7 events, while Status (SNT) is third with 434.5 events.
Status aims to provide users with a secure messaging app, crypto wallet and web3 browser through an open-source, peer-to-peer protocol and end-to-end encryption.
The Ethereum (ETH) layer-2 scaling solution Optimism (OP) ranks fourth with 411 notable events, and the decentralized public network Hedera (HBAR) clocks in at fifth place with 378.73.

Santiment notes that it does not count routine updates and uses a “better methodology” to collect data for GitHub events based on a “backtested process.”
The analytics firm has previously said that heavy development activity around a crypto project is a positive indicator that could mean developers believe the protocol will be successful. It also indicates that the project is less likely to be an exit scam.
LINK is trading at $18.31 at the time of writing. The 15th-ranked crypto asset by market capitalization is down 1.31% in the past 24 hours.
