Compatriots, come together – we have news from the motherland!
Better yet, we have news from the mother city – Melbourne, Australia.
(You know, the cool older brother from Melbourne, Canada – no? OK, moving on).
Alias is working on a new platform that allows users to overlay a digital avatar over themselves (in real time) in video calls and recordings.
(Kind of like how in the past a select number of NFT collections have released software that lets you participate in video calls as your NFT sign).
Which wouldn’t have made us so excited a few weeks ago, but from February 2…
We now have a dream to (one day) be able to do the following:
-
Create our own ultra-realistic digital twin using Unreal Engine’s’MetaHuman‘ software (see header image for an example ☝️)
-
Upload it to a platform like Alias
-
Use it on the Vision Pro
Because Apple’s current ‘Persona’ software just doesn’t make sense…
And we know it, we know it – before we even typed the words:
We are done with simplifying a process between different devices and software, and all the administrative hassle that comes with it…
But dream of lettuce for a moment, will you?
